Marisa started with Alfie's 4 years ago, quite the change up coming from working for Vodafone for over 15 years. Her passion has however always been in plants and design, having studied Landscape design back in her 20's.
Favourite plant? too many to mention..... Natives, Pseudopanax Ferox, Wisteria and Hydrangeas.

Aimee is an Alfie's OG and was worked here for 4 years when it was The Garden Depot. Her history spans back even longer where she worked at Palmers as a florist for 5 years.
Aimee is responsible for our Seedlings and Edibles. Her favourite plants are flowering perennials especially Echinacea and Daisies.

Jack has worked in the plant trade for 7 years, over 3 different centres and has been with Alfie's for just over a year. His favourite plant of choice is Cacti and Succulents and has a very impressive collection at home.
Gaye Bowater

Gaye has been with Alfie's Plant Barn for just over 3 years, and has over 20 years experience in the plant trade. From Havelock North Garden Centre to running her own Nursery in Queensland for 10 years. Her self confessed plant obsession is any indoor plant, ferns and palms. In recent years after building her own natural pond she has developed a huge passion for Water plants and ecosystems.

Tui has been with Alfie's for just over 2 years, from a sprightly wee pup, to a very laid back Border Collie. She is always super happy to see kids and is known to get talkative with her favourite people. Tui's favourite plant is any fragrant bloom. But her favorite products are definitely plastic pots and Moana Rd soft toys.
